Lovely hotel with great owners. It has a real family feel to the place. It is an older place but the rooms are nicely renovated.
Really like this old hotel. It is not modern by any means but the rooms are big and it has a quirky vibe. Only drawback is the lack of AC but they have fans in every room. I like coming back.
What a wonderful little gem in New Denver. The ladies that run this place do a fine job. Nothing is too much trouble. Make sure you eat at the restaurant, the food was amazing.

My family recently stayed three nights at the Valhalla Inn. The owners and staff are super friendly and make a point of getting to know their customers. The hotel rooms are very basic but there are pet-friendly rooms, very comfortable beds, and various amenities like TV, fridge etc. We ate breakfast every day at the hotel's restaurant and while the menu is not huge it has a nice variety of the usual breakfast items. We only had one dinner of Chinese food here and it was good - not fantastic, but nice flavours. We have stayed here many times over the years and have always enjoyed our stay, which means we will be back!!
Wow what an incredible experience we had at this adorable inn! The room was super clean and fresh! It was our anniversary and they gave us sweet and thoughtful lil treats to make us feel so special! Sabrina was so helpful with some excellent recommendations for the area! Such a hardworking and friendly family running this awesome gem! The food was so tasty and very well made! We will definitely be back to visit this amazing inn again!
Our bike group reserved 4 rooms and we had low expectations given is looks like an older place. We were pleasantly surprised at the rooms and the service. Serena at the front desk was very helpful with everything. The rooms were spotless and the bed comfortable. Added bonus was the walkway from rooms up to the pub, which served good food. Also tried the chocolate dessert made by Serena herself. Delicious! Overall great experience. We will be back.
As a BC Wildfire employee, travelling is part of my job and I have stayed at many hotels throughout the years. Although the Valhalla Inn doesn’t have the fancy features you get at a 5 star hotel, it has been by far the most pleasant experience I have ever had. The staff and owners were so kind to myself and all my other coworkers, providing later services for our funky schedules, and making sure we were taken care of just like mom would do! Seriously the best hospitality with the kindest most friendly staff you will ever find. Thank you Valhalla Inn for making our lives easier and more comfortable during our stay! I will be returning to this beautiful town for a vacation and would 12/10 stay here again.
